We got the shingles up and even some trim on the sides. I don't have a current photo of the shed because it is just too bitterly cold to go out and take one. Here's a close to finished photo at least. It seems like all the projects that we have done this year have taken at least a month longer to complete than expected. But alas, it is complete and we are happy to rest for a while.

It's a New Year!
It's a new year and even though from our blog it appears that we have been idle, it is quite the opposite. We have been busy with a series of projects which I have dutifully documented with my camera and I will share with all of you. But first off, the completion of the shed.

My Hubby is Home
Well, it's official, after 5 long, grueling months of training, he's finally home. We took this picture just before he left and, as usual, haven't taken any pictures since he's been home. We've been busy. In the last 10 days the playhouse has been leveled, all supplies for the upcoming homemade shed have been purchased, he's back to teaching seminary at Olympus HS, and I am finally feeling whole again. Oh and by the way, today is our anniversary. Three wonderful, blissful years.

Ragnar Relay-Wasatch Back
Well, I ran the Ragnar Relay in June. It was a grueling overnight 12-man relay race that spanned about 180 miles from Logan, Utah to Park City, Utah. We each ran 3 different legs of the race, it took us just under 30 hours to complete. It was hard, it was hot, but it was totally amazing. I loved it, even when I thought I was going to pass out from the heat hitting the pavement. Looking forward to doing this next year. Check out the YouTube video that my sis-in-law Tina put together for it.

Going green
Just to stay hip and trendy this summer (since we always are) we bought Justin a scooter to drive around on. It gets about 70 mpg and costs less than $4.00 to fill up. It also goes like 45 mph with the two of us on it...top speed! Pretty awesome, huh? Here are some pics of "Sasha" the scooter and Justin in all his glory.

Well Sarah tagged me a while back and I haven't had a chance to look at it until now...sitting at my desk at work and waiting for a patient to come. See here goes...
10 years ago:
10 years ago I was lifeguarding at Alta Canyon and had the best tan of my life. So much for those days. I had just finished my junior year of high school and was just getting to know my guy friends, Justin eventually became my husband.
5 places I have visited:
1. Thailand
2. Europe
3. Guatemala
4. Chile
5. Cancun
5 things on my to do list:
1. get my visiting teaching done
2. plant trees in my back yard
3. go to the store to buy food (again)
4. mow the lawn
5. brush Rosie so she doesn't shed all over
3 bad habits:
1. never make the bed
2. forget to wear sunscreen
3. hangnails, need I say more
5 lifetime goals:
1. pay off grad school debt (cause it will take a lifetime)
2. raise a family
3. travel with my husband
4. stay healthy
5. build a cabin somewhere beautiful
5 things you might not know about me:
1. I'm a bit OCD about things (but who isn't in the medical field)
2. I lived in Chile for a couple of summers
3. I loved living in Texas, despite the humidity
4. Not totally shocking, but I love to eat!
5. I just ran the Wasatch Back Ragnar Relay this past weekend
